Two wins for YunoHost + Nostr.

Two wins for YunoHost + Nostr.

YunoHost MCP is now up and running, giving AI agents a purpose-built interface for working with a YunoHost server.

It uses YunoHost's own administration interfaces, with Nostr-signed authentication, scoped permissions, policy controls and auditing.

Agents can help with server diagnostics, apps, services, logs, backups and administration, as well as developing and testing "_ynh" packages. Access can be restricted by role and scope, including short-lived delegated access for individual agents.

And it has already passed its first real packaging test:

Ditto for YunoHost is working and published.

To be clear, Ditto itself is developed by Alex Gleason and the Soapbox team. This work doesn't build or replace Ditto. It packages their existing Ditto project for YunoHost.

The interesting bit is how that YunoHost package was produced:

AI agent → YunoHost MCP → real YunoHost server → build package → install → test → diagnose → fix → publish

So Ditto becomes the first real app packaged and published using the YunoHost MCP workflow.
